EXPERIENCE NORWAY’S WILDERNESS YEAR-ROUND WITH TRIPS AND COURSES FOR ALL LEVELS, GAINING THE SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE FOR YOUR FUTURE ADVENTURES.
In Norway there are endless opportunities for canoe trips on large lakes studded with islands, sandy beaches, narrow waterways and wild forests.
If you prefer to canoe on flowing water, we can find a river with exciting rapids or move onto the mountain plateaus for a more challenging canoe trip.
We do also provide canoeing courses from beginners to intermediate level.
Norway is a huge paradise for sea kayakers.
With Norvantur you can join us on for trips, courses or combine both.
Trips: We offer sea kayak trips all year round. You can join us for (half) day trips along islands in one of the archipelagos of the inner and outer Oslofjord or explore longer stretches of the norwegian coastline during a multi day expedition.
Courses: We provide sea kayaking courses from beginners to intermediate level. We provide certified courses for ISKGA (international sea kayak guide alliance), BC (British canoeing) and NPF (Norwegian Paddle Association)
Norway stands out as a wild swimming haven, featuring countless lakes, dramatic waterfalls, serene mountain pools, and a 100,000 km coastline with over 200,000 islands, all surrounded by extensive kelp forests below the surface.

In the darkest months of the year, hundreds of frozen lakes await skaters in Norway. We study the map and head into the forest and mountains in search of natural ice.
It’s a unique experience to discover nature this way and see the pink sky reflected in the ice. With a little bit of luck we may hear the beautiful melody of new black ice on the way.
We do also provide tour skating courses from beginners to intermediate level.
