Kriki

Nomad of the sea, when not wandering in the mountains…

Born and raised in the unspoiled nature of Algeria, since then hundreds of journeys and many experiences richer, now completely stoked by living in beautiful Norway.

Kriki is a biologist and works as a science teacher. Outdoor sports and friluftsliv are also her subjects.

Kriki is an British Canoeing Advanced Sea Kayak Leader (Tidal) and an Advanced International Sea Kayak Guide Alliance (ISKGA) guide. She is recognized as a sea kayaking instructor at Norway's Canoe Association (NPF) and coaches/guides groups for the Norwegian Trekking Association. Kriki is also trained as a Wilderness First Responder and as a coastal lifeguard by the Belgian Training Center for Rescue and Ambulance Services (WOBRA) and the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society (RS) and Norway's Canoe Association.

I prefer to be outdoors, active and always looking for new untouched places in nature-either paddling, on foot, by bicycle, on skates or on skis.

Stijn

An explorer without borders, at home in the outdoors…

Pathfinder, more than average possessed of the Norwegian nature that provides endless outdoor adventures.

What do I find so compelling about Norwegian nature? In every season, I look forward to new activities in beautiful surroundings that challenge and inspire me. The freedom of being outdoors and the effects of being in the moment at all times are the best parts for me.

Stijn is recognized as a canoeing and sea kayaking instructor at Norway's Canoe Association (NPF) and also trains wild ice guides for the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT). With training in ice rescue, rescue in swift water and a doctorate in first aid, he is well prepared should a serious situation ever arise.

Stijn combines his work as a guide with his role as a researcher in evidence-based practice.
