OVERVIEW

Along the more than 100 000 km of the Norwegian coastline, there are 2000 lighthouse, some of them onshore, others located offshore on exposed rocks. We will paddle from lighthouse to lighthouse and explore the Norwegian coast.

These trips will be organised as multi-day trips, on different locations along the Norwegian coastline, all year round.

On multi-day trips we sleep in the great outdoors, a unique thousand star hotel. We make a campfire, cook our own meals and we might find some goodies along the way.

Each trip is also a tailored course with a focus on safety, rescue, packing, navigation, kayaking technique and special skills specific to sea kayaking in Norway. The sea kayak trips are a perfect way to develop your skills and take into account your previous experience and individual goals.

PRICES

The price for longer excursions is 2000 NOK / 24h per person, On all our prices, we offer a 25% discount for families. Meals can be included for an extra fee.

GRADE

It is important that participants master proper paddling, maneuvering and self-rescue techniques.

GROUP SIZE AND GUIDES

The trips can be undertaken individually, or in a small groups. The maximum number of participants is 6 and the guide ratio is 1:3.

DURATION

Multi-day trips, different duration, depending on location and date.

LOCATION

Lighthouse to lighthouse trips can be organised anywhere in Norway.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In bad weather, the arranged activity will continue regardless. If the weather conditions are dangerous, the instructor will cancel the activity. If no alternative is found, Norvantur will refund the registration.

SAFETY

Our outdoor activities have a minimal risk to our participants. At Norvantur, we are trained to assess the risks and trained in rescue techniques and first aid. Severe or extreme conditions are not part of our program.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation by the participant, we charge cancellation costs. These cancellation costs depend on the number of days remaining until the start of the activity. Participants cannot claim compensation in case of cancellation due to ‘force majeure’. In case of cancellation of the activity by Norvantur, the full registration sum will always be refunded. For safety reasons it may be necessary to change the program during the activity.

COVID-19

If you cannot participate to booked activities due to travel restrictions such as border closures, flight suspensions, quarantine, you can postpone the activity or ask for a refund of any pre-payments.
