Explore&more by sea kayak: Vestkapp and Stadlandet Peninsula.

We will be paddling along rough and wild nature, lush steep mountain sides with exciting caves, large surfing beaches, crystal clear water and green Nordic meadows. We adapt the trip to weather and sea conditions. The coast around Norway's Western Cape and Stad is exposed and known for its currents and changing weather. But in summer, the conditions are more gentle and provide a suitable time window to explore the Stadlandet peninsula by sea kayak. We spend the night in tents and depending on the conditions, there will be several camps or one base camp. Each trip is also a tailored course with a focus on trip planning, packing, navigation, sea kayaking technique, expedition skills and coastal foraging.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In bad weather, the arranged activity will continue regardless. If the weather conditions are dangerous, the instructor will cancel the activity. If no alternative is found, Norvantur will refund the registration.

SAFETY

Our outdoor activities have a minimal risk to our participants. At Norvantur, we are trained to assess the risks and trained in rescue techniques and first aid. Severe or extreme conditions are not part of our program.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation by the participant, we charge cancellation costs. These cancellation costs depend on the number of days remaining until the start of the activity. Participants cannot claim compensation in case of cancellation due to ‘force majeure’. In case of cancellation of the activity by Norvantur, the full registration sum will always be refunded. For safety reasons it may be necessary to change the program during the activity.

COVID-19

If you cannot participate to booked activities due to travel restrictions such as border closures, flight suspensions, quarantine, you can postpone the activity or ask for a refund of any pre-payments.
